The working principle of a fully automatic capsule filling machine mainly consists of two parts: capsule movement and drug filling. Capsule movement relies on the intermittent, discontinuous rotation of the indexing box. Capsules enter the capsule guide groove by gravity, and a horizontal fork guides them into the upper and lower modules with the capsule cap facing upwards and the capsule body facing downwards. Vacuum suction separates the capsule cap and capsule body.
Drug filling is accomplished by components such as a powder-holding ring, a spiral feed rod, a metering disc, and a compaction rod. Sensors control the powder level to maintain a constant level. After the compaction rod compacts the powder, it pushes the drug cartridge into the capsule body. The overall workflow follows a cycle of capsule sorting, filling, closing, and finished product output.
